Imagine a secluded location, that posesses the magical ability to be whatever you imagine it to be. Whatever your heart desires. A place that caresses all your senses and provides pleasant surprises regardless of the season. In this unexpectedness lies the joy of travel. So ask yourself - what would you like to see in nature?

Seven senses and five seasons

The wondrous journey of world-class hospitality is an infinite one, for it has no end point. The goal is to grow constantly, much like Taju’s wildly dynamic landscapes that are always changing with the seasons.

“Sense” (”Taju” in Estonian) is just a word. It’s what you make of it and what you experience that gives true meaning to the word.

Taju is built upon ideas of balance and movement. As real and abstract as sense itself, Taju between elegance and luxury combined with wild hospitality in an environment that is constantly growing and in motion.

Taju celebrates the beauty of nature all year round and treats its guests with nothing but wild hospitality. The main concept is rooted in seven senses and five seasons.

Experiencing five senses throughout four seasons is generally expected, but Taju’s focus has shifted and is aimed at the extraordinary ones instead. It takes movement and balance into account as the sixth and seventh sense, combining them with the fifth season, which glorifies the beauty of nature all year round and sees the divinity in decay.

THE SENSE OF IT ALL. ALL YEAR ROUND.

We have traveled a lot in the world, but the Lydia Hotel in Tartu is one of the few places where the whole experience is thought through from start to finish. When we began to create Taju, we started researching who has managed to make the Lydia concept work like this, and that's how we got to Neway. The Neway team can ask the right questions and they are also very good listeners. They're able to capture all the smallest nuances and pass them on to the brand. The basic value of Taju is that we are never completely finished, we are always in constant change. Our brand conveys this perfectly.
